The Harvest closes the Matriots chapter and is one of the most intimate dinners of the entire Santé season. Twenty-four seats, a working farm, a renovated horse barn, and a chef who did not choose convenience when she chose this life.
Dena Fisher farms seven acres on North Ridge Road in Vermilion with her family. She grows the produce, raises the chickens, and hosts dinners in the space she built for exactly this purpose. The Harvest is a true farm dinner — sourced from what the land and the season are giving in mid-October, cooked with a precision that belies the setting's warmth.
