About the event

Rooted in CLE | Thursday, September 10, 2026

featuring Chef Daniel Bolaños of Saed Restaurant

There is a difference between eating food and eating food that you know the story of — when you know the farmer's name, when you've seen the soil they tend, when you understand that what's on your plate is the result of someone's season and someone's commitment to feeding this city. That's what this dinner is. Saed Restaurant is cooking the harvest that City Fresh's farmers have spent the season growing for neighborhoods across Cleveland. At Baker Creek Equestrian — a working farm in Columbia Station — thirty of us will gather around one table. This is what it means to eat locally. Not as an aesthetic. As a commitment to the people and the earth that feed us.

All courses are served family-style — dishes are passed and shared at the communal table.
