Her Seat opens the October chapter of the Santé season — and it does so with a question that is both literal and political: whose seat is this, and who gets to sit in it?
The Matriots Ohio has been answering that question since 2017, funding women running for office in Ohio and organizing across party lines for the simple, radical proposition that women deserve equal representation in government. Angie Ferber answers it differently — through food that is built on nourishment, intention, and care.
Goodkind Coffee on Cleveland's West Side is the setting: intimate, community-rooted, and exactly the kind of space where a dinner like this belongs.
All courses are served family-style — dishes are passed and shared at the communal table.
