Join us for a powerful evening of community, culture, and cuisine at our Feed the Resistance dinner on Thursday, August 21st, featuring Chef Esther Ngemba of Furahi Taste of Home and a soul-nourishing Congolese-inspired menu. Known for weaving ancestral tradition into every dish, Chef Esther brings a deep connection to her roots, creating food that tells the story of resilience, migration, and home.
This dinner will benefit Re:Source Cleveland, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping refugees and immigrants with the tools they need to thrive. Through job training, community support, and culturally aware services, ReSource Cleveland helps newcomers build sustainable futures while honoring their identities.
In addition to a vibrant, family-style meal and meaningful conversation, guests will have the opportunity to bid on three custom hand-painted tablecloths created by local artist Kay Bentley. Each one-of-a-kind piece will be displayed…
