Some dinners are about the menu. Common Ground is about the land underneath it.
Ohio City Farm is a social enterprise of Re:Source Cleveland — and it is unlike any other dinner venue in this city. The farmers who work this land are resettled refugees, humanitarian parolees, and newcomers rebuilding their lives in Northeast Ohio. The food grown here moves through Re:Source's programs and feeds the community. On July 2nd, it feeds this table.
Chef Doug Katz and Chef Ben Strnisha are cooking here. In the field. At a table set on the farm. The menu will reflect what the season and the soil are giving in early July.
All courses are served family-style — dishes are passed and shared at the communal table.
